I believe you have to have headers and test pipes to get the aggressive burble. I just did a level 2 tune on my car with 3" intakes, HFCs, and exhaust; it did fix my CEL. For the same amount of power you gain going full bolt on you could have a stealth g37 with a very modest shot of nitrous like 30-40 shot and spray all day for like 6 grand less.

No regrets at all, I paid to add just the variable exhaust. It handles well and brakes amazing. I dint think you notice much of a difference except on heavy track days. I've gotten multiple 2.7 0-60 launches on flat ground. In my opinion it's not worth the money.

I got a z1 tune after intakes/catback and I had no issues with it, have them doing the tune now whenever I finish the Supercharger install as well.
