It's funny though in over 300+ EA version increments and like a year, and it still runs pretty much the same'ish FPS/performance on Steam Deck as it did in the beginning. Folks have just found ideal settings and such, but the ToTK emulation state for deck hasn't moved much.

Set Thermal Power Limit to on the Performance menu on the Deck. Set the Watts slider to 7 . Turn on Manual GPU Clock Control. Set the value to 1000. This made a huge difference for me. Limit framerate to 40fps and set deck to 40 hertz refresh rate. Ensure FPS++ is downloaded and you have a higher refresh rate set than 40 .Having too many games is a great problem to have. I'm playing some pretty demanding games with yuzu (using the latest early access daily builds) like Xenoblade 3 and Fire Emblem, and some less demanding ones like Metroid Dread, and they all run pretty well.

I've been playing "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" (TotK) on both my PC and Steam Deck. The game runs smoothly on my PC, but on the Steam Deck, I'm experiencing a locked framerate of 20fps. However, when I unlock the framerate, I can achieve a more consistent 30-35fps, which is more playable for me.
