Mob's family, Reigen, Tsubomi, Body Improvement Club, all served as positive influence to avoid those futures. By writing the psychic characters as what-ifs of Mob ONE made it adamantly clear the message of the show, that relationships and influences shapes you. Top notch thematic writing if you ask me.

He manifested that evil spirit and became a drain on society because of his choices long before any spirits showed up.
