'Course, they were made in Ithaca, NY about 50 miles from where I live. If your 16 gauge model 37R is all original and in very good to excellent condition, retail value would be in the $400 - $500 range.
I've always wanted an Ithaca 37 with a short barrel but I can't ever imagine buying this. The unsupported mag tube and fixed bbl aren't too cool. And hearing what they say about the fixed barrel makes me wonder if their engineering staff aren't really, really high.
