New member. I have a 1968 800 with a 345. The Holley carb is a 2 barrel 500 cfm 4412-5 with a date code of 2644. I am trying to get a rebuild kit for it. None of the local parts stores have a listing for it. One of them said it was a 2300 and sold me that kit. The metering plate gasket is wrong and the power valve is totally different.It was a cast aluminum or pot metal plate that was drilled for the correct metering. It screws to the back of the main body and is completely covered by the rear float bowl. Holley just identified it by stamping it with the number 17 .
