Chrysler 300 remote start not working.

It would shut off. Took it to the shop, they said it runs through a checklist and shuts the car if off to protect it if theirs a problem.When you push the Start button: First, the vehicle's computer checks if the brake pedal is depressed. Second, it checks if the vehicle is in Park or Neutral. Third, the computer checks if the battery has enough power, and only then activates the starter motor that turns over the engine, or switches to "Ready" mode if it's a Hybrid or Electric car.My remote start has not been working properly for a week or two. It says in my '08 manual that the horn will honk twice (if programmed) on remote starting. I guess if you have the horn set to honk on lock or unlock with the remote it will honk when you use the remote start. I don't have the horn set to honk w/locking and it doesn't do it when I remote start it.

I heard all 300c's come with factory remote starters in them. Also read the way to remote start your car is to press the lock button on the fob 3 times. Mine does nothing when I do that.
