Subaru outback passenger window not working.

When I try to close the passenger side window by lifting the power switch, it goes all the way up then bounces back to halfway shut (or open - take your pick). Whether using passenger side control or driver side control, when we try to raise the window to the top (closed), it gets there but then suddenly lowers to half way. Any time we try to close completely it lowers back down to half way.The problem still happens with both keys in the car. Based on what I've read online, I think I'll try the following: 1. Try a new brand of batteries instead of cheap ones from Amazon - Energizer or Duracell. 2. Put the key in the door pocket instead of by the cup holder as phone interference may cause the problem.

Eventually the motor wins out, but you may want to try running a credit card or something else thin, flexible and not sharp between the glass and rubber. Any auto up/down window I've had to roll each one down (at least halfway) then back up manually... from that particular door. ex: 2017 drivers and passenger front windows, from those doors. 2019 - all windows, at each door. The manual says just the driver's window, which will fix the driver's window.
