The 402 is a stroker based off of the aluminum LS2 and the 408 is based off a stroked LQ4 iron block. A 383 like mine uses your LS1 block with a small overbore. Kits range from 800 ish, to well over 3k. You will need larger injectors, def need your PCM re tuned, and of course you would want to have all the supporting modifications done to the engine already to support said 383.
