OG, HD feel cartoonish and out of place (looks like its ripped from metro). Sure, OG are little bit outdated, but HD completely change the feel of the game. HD and it isn't even close. They bring a more immersive and realistic feel to Stalker and are less cartoony/ugly than the vanillas.

I went back to stalker anomoly 64 bit +hand picked textures 250 meter grass distance using 9gb ram no crashes . Dead air crashes alot for me. I will probably jump back and forth between Last Day and Dead Air for a while. I like Dead Air but it's a whole different animal when compared to CoC and its offshoots.
