The patch has screwed up progression for certain classes when continuing from a pre-patch save. I have reported it and provided my save to Shiro for them to hopefully fix the bug. Yes, I continued from a pre-patch save. This is very likely the case -- following the latest patch -- as you mentioned and reported. #3.
Wrestler is the best. 1) if you have 40 guard it turns it into 80, so you have the same defense as tanks with shields around lvl 10+. 2) Pugilist has is a Dex class, and so has a high crit chance, but not crit dmg, as opposed to Str characters, which have high crit dmg but low crit chance. Thanks for info. you have to attain a specific level of experience in the knowledge path to have the opportunity to respecialize - i don't have my game on at the moment and don't recall what path level you need - but that's where that capability comes from. hope that helps?
Poisoners feel like they just drop off as you progress deeper into the game. That and using Bleed and Burn makes things much easier for the most part. For a buff, I'd say the solution would be to readjust the level 8 skill that doubles all poison counters on hostiles in an area. 3 Valour points really is too much...

You cannot reset the Skill points. However you can fix it by getting an extra Attribute level up.
