Just received my shiftpod v1.5 that I will use at Burning Man this year. I have a couple questions for anyone that has one or used one. Didn't want to resurrect an old thread and there's not much information online. What A/C set up did you use? Was A/C crucial in a shiftpod? Did you use a shade structure?

Shiftpod recommends reinforcing the roof during high winds, so we brought a 1" wide pvc pipe exactly 6'2" long. This was just big enough to prop up the roof in the middle of the tent during windstorms, but I don't think it was really ever necessary this year.I’d be comfortable with it tied to the Tahoe’s roof rack inside it’s bag. The bag has handles you can loop through. I use NRS cam buckle straps for that kind of rigging. Save the inner plastic bag it is shipped with to keep it out of rain.
