The model 10-6 was the heavy barreled variant. As Injunbro said, the gun is from the 69-70 time period. Value is hard to determine without seeing it. The M prefix was used exclusively on the .22/32 line of revolvers. These would include the Models 34, 35, 43, 51 and 63 (all of those except the Model 35 were Kit Guns).
