I have the Effikal RVGP PC 6BKF vent damper on a Burnham boiler and the damper DOES always open when controller is calling for heat .. BUT .. occasionally .. it does not kick on the boiler. If I give it a gentle tap with my finger it clicks and boiler fires up.
