On top of that, you won't be able to get platinum on Gran Turismo Sport after January 31st, 2024 since some trophies require certain goals in Sport mode. It is grindy and always will be, but if you enjoy tuning and trying out different cars, there are lots of ways to make your own fun. There are still only 4 big-payout races (over 400k) but there are also plenty of smaller races that pay 100-200k as well. Just beware that there are legendary cars that cost 20 million. I've been comparing Gran Turismo to real life because when you compare Gran Turismo to other "sims" everyone will just say the physics are totally different even if the lap times are similar. GT7 is definitely in the top ten best Gran Turismo games of all time. Of all the gran Turismo games, it is definitely one of them! I can certainly say that GT7 scored metacritic points. In fact more than one. Of all the games in the history of gran Turismo, it is defininitely one of them!

Also some track side shadows / lights type graphics literally draw maybe 30m ahead of your car and it’s quite distracting and very disappointing for a supposedly AAA racing game in 2023. I can say the OP is right in GT7 looking a bit underwhelming. Coming from playing Automobilista 2 in VR on the quest 2, supersampled at 1.2x & with the sharpness hack, AMS2 still looks way better & sharper Than my PSVR2.
