81 CJ-7 build Gen V 5.3, 6L80E. Starting a new build. Base is an '81 CJ-7. Build will be a nut and bolt rest-mod. Below is what has been ordered to date. Pictures are day 1 of the build. If anyone is need of a narrow track 44 rear and/or M30 front with 4:10 or 4:11 let me know.

Fuel pressure should be 49 psi +/- 5 psi at idle. If engine runs but pressure is below 44psi , check for a kinked fuel supply line somewhere between fuel rail and fuel pump module. If line is not kinked, replace fuel pump module assembly. If operating pressure is above 54psi , electric fuel pump is OK, but fuel pressure regulator is defective.

Since your XJ is a 2001, it won't have plug wires or a distributor but instead has a coil pack ignition. The OEM one isn't going to work anymore due to the motor etc being out of it. You will need to provide the fuel pump relay with another source of switched power, as the Jeep ECM is not providing one now. A wire from a hot wire will work fine to switch the relay over. 1) Remove the 13mm caliper bolts and set your caliper to the side. Now would be a good time to clean/grease your slides, and clean your brake hardware. I have an aftermarket bolt and slide kit, so yours may not be 13mm. 2) Now slide your rotors off and set them to the side. 3) Remove the 13mm diff cover bolts.
