You can put 35s on a Stock F150, but you need to make some changes in the front area of the tires for this purpose. Add a leveling kit, or you can remove the crash bars and use your 35s without any problem. I am wondering if anyone has experience with throwing 35s on the factory rims and whether significant trimming would be required. I am also considering just getting 17" Methods and some 35s as well.

MPG will drop to some extent. But what is the. real world difference? 18 (Screw, 3.5, W/3.55s), I'm getting between 18.5 - 20 MPG to the tank.

Offroad conditions present more chances to rub when the truck is flexed...I took my 35's off of my leveled '04 and went down to 33's to gain more clearance when off roading. They will fit if you have proper back spacing. If you run stocker for bumper you may have a tiny bit of trimming to do. If it's leveled 2.5" and you put 35s, you should be ok with some minor trimming. Others have said that 1/4" wheel spacers will take away the need for trimming. Either way, you'll be alright.
