Remington sportsman 48.

I have a low production Model 11-48, serial # 5500XXX, in 16 guage, with barrel code KWW 3, and the shotgun has a Polychoke installed on a barrel marked "FULL". Remington Sportsman 48. So i recently got my hands on my grandfathers old sportsman 48 in 16 Gauge. I love the gun and have been doing a good bit of shooting with it. A few weeks ago it gave me a problem and i finally figured out that it was the Friction piece it has been warped. After ordering a new one i took it to the range and it works fine.

I have just finished cleaning it, some parts were so dirty I had to soak them for 3 days in hoppes. Overall the gun is in pretty decent shape.
