They're marked CAI, the main importer, and have been showing up lots of places. Most I've seen have shown outer wear, but seemed to lock up great and looked they hadn't been shot all that much.
This is not confusing. The only place a serial number is required is on the frame of the gun. It will always be there. Some manufacturers also put the serial number on the barrel and/or slide. These are not required and these numbers are not the legal serial number. The ONLY serial number that is legal to use is the one on the frame.
