The so-called "guides" do nothing but rehash in-game text (some of which is wrong) and state the obvious ("crafting requires ingredients!") while glossing over any of the technical details of how crafting actually works.

Sounds like solaste works ok with controller as well. I play on a controller almost all the time, theres a few glitches with the incentory thats annoying but otherwise its more fun for me to do it that way. Its pretty optimized for controller play. MnK is definitely better.
