At the time that gun was made the .410-bore shells were offered in a 2-inch length with 3/10 ounce of shot and a 2 1/2-inch length with 3/8-ounce of shot.

The "Arms & Tool" name was not used after 1915, so you have somewhere between 1912-1915.Triple checked...the serial number is correct. The receiver is engraved "J.
