Builds in op8 do mostly rely on anarchy because it is her only source of gun damage, as well as her biggest strength. it is the easiest way to scale gaige to deal damage in uvhm. That doesn't mean that DT builds aren't viable, but you will find that with good weapons, anarchy gaige will always beat out any other build.

Anarchist class mod is actually considered to be quite terrible (then again most of Gaige's mods are, because Anarchy on its own is just so powerful, but this one stands out as being particularly bad). 1) The damage boost is awful, it is additive with anarchy, so once you have built up stacks it barely adds any damage.
