Performance-wise, they're similar. Gas mileage, the RAV4 hybrid is ~10% better but the RX350h is still pretty frugal. The RAV4 will objectively keep its value better than any competitor like the Tucson or Santa Fe or Escape. Under my first year of ownership (~110k) the cylinder head had to be replaced ~$2-3k repair. At ~120k the ABS actuator went bad ~$2-3k That same year I replaced the front struts myself.
