Consider the full size frame it really is only about .5 inch Longer in the grip, the rest of the frame is identical. That little bit of length in the grip can make for a better grip and better accuracy as a result. The full size frame is not bulky like a 17 or 22 frame It is contoured and much slimmer than you think.
