As regards the XL, can't help you.the SAS and sights were a good idea executed poorly. They are a complete change from traditional sights and will cover half of your sight picture. And the lack of tritium makes them completely worthless and unusable if your in a low/no light situation. Another problem is the SAS is almost useless one handed.

The porting is what intrigues me most on the SAS. Ive always had great experiences with ported pistols. Theres no rush, have been narrowing it down through the lineup for a while. Theres also nothing clogging up my view of the red dot so thats a + imo.
