I can confirm that Fidelity is indeed trying to charge $100 to transfer physical share certificates to AST. I called yesterday after seeing that email from Nextbridge. AST transferred the shares to the broker with no fee. What youre doing is essentially transferring the shares back to AST.That way you are 100% insured that Nextbridge will take over your shares. Mind you, selling them for a huge squeeze price is not possible. c. Do nothing with (parts/remaining/all) shares. It will still be in your account but because mmtlp does not exist anymore, it will be hard to get them over to Nextbridge.
