Actually, bruiser smg build with memento is good with more blue, and youll likely to get the lost 15% weapon damage (red core) from another source, lets say from the amplify damage stack of lady death (+75%/bullet) or chameleon (+90% wpn dmg) and also the intimidate (35%). Dont need to run it in full red.

These activities have a chance to drop the backpack as a reward. The backpack can also be obtained by completing missions on challenging difficulty or higher. Hang in there, it was the same for me. I kept getting the exotic tower in backpack targeted areas, slowly creeping up to it and then being let down by acosta.
