Wait for the wisp sound after hearing the fail noise then start searching. Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is that you aren't getting the wisps fast enough. 6.It's on Xbox by the way. If you shoot your bow anywhere near a potential wisp spot when the wisp isn't actually there, you will fail. Make sure you only shoot your bow when you are shooting the wisp.
