It has jammed in my gun safety class and jammed when practicing at the gun range. The sec jam was the last, cause the magazine release button has literally fell off. Step 2 Field Strip. For safety reasons, the serial number has been redacted. After making sure the weapon is clear -no bullet in the chamber- , release the striker by pulling the trigger. This releases the tension on the striker and allows the slide to come forward. Pull the slide back just a hair to release the tension on the disassembly ...1) Use good light (flashlight works good) 2) Remove magazine. 3) Remove slide from frame. 4) Look into grip frame (use the flashlight now & and looking down from the top of frame) and you will see the mag release and a small pin under it (the pin is the magazine release spring). 5) Take your small flat screwdriver and insert it into the grip ...A basic cleaning video for you Taurus series pistols.
