Went back and tried turning it on, something else I noticed, all the of the settings under vehicle are greyed out and I get a message saying that car must be in park to change. Also the Start stays red and it takes two button pushes to turn off instead of the one, and the rear cam doesnt turn on when put in reverse.
Now I can release the parking brake, but getting new message, "brake system error, see dealer." I turn off the car. I call the dealership, next available appointment is the next day at 1:30 PM, but I can try coming earlier as a walk in. Leave the car for 5 hours.
