Rajang's HBG can no longer get low recoil on sticky 3. There's a couple in MR that can, but they got 2 round magazines vs the 4 of rajang's, and their damage scaled poorly into MR. If you really want to play this type of build early on, Anjanath's LBG would be your best choice.

Sticky/Cluster works fine, far from optimal but fun regardless., would not recommend using as much if playing solo. Can confirm that shockproof prevents you from constantly staggering your teammates. Guard 5 for HBG by itself is absolute trash until you stack it with Embolden and Tune-Up. For most of the earlier monsters It won't be too problematic with chip damage and subsequent push back (kills DPS) until you start to mess around with Apexes like Diablos/Zinogre etc during the end game portion.
