My LML would pretty much instantly start within less than a second of cranking when not freezing cold. I'll have to time them and see if there is really a significant difference or just seems like a long time to me.

2013 Silverado no crank no start. short version, the F harness had about 15 wires chewed up. I repaired the wiring but the truck would not crank. I replaced the f harness, tested fuses and relays in both fuse boxes. still have the same problem, the power comes on at the turn of the key. it still will not crank. no codes on the scanner.

Remote and dash button cause the same start cycle. (dash button does not have to be held, just 'push and release') Both send a signal to the bcm/ecm, which manage the start cycle. If it doesn't start, the crank command will time-out. Pushing the button the second time does not stop the cycle. It runs til time-out.

Mine was loosing prime and would either stall or not start. I did 2 things to fix the problem. I rebuilt the primer on the fuel filter housing and replace the bleed screw on the filter housing. That fixed my problem. Someone makes a billet bleed screw. For instance, I would go to the under hood fuse and relay box and try jumpering around the crank relay. I bet the engine will crank. Then I would hook a test light to the control wires of the relay socket and see if the key will light the light. I bet it won't.
