Never really seen the need for a custom HUD. Some people say a good HUD directly improves your performance but considering B4nny, wildly considered to be one of the best TF2 players currently on the scene, uses the default minimized HUD, I just kind of passed. Ackshully, TF2 default hud is clunky and outdated.
