Ffxiv lagging.
Apr 24, 2022. #1. Hey there, tried to stream FFXIV recently and OBS began lagging really badly. FPS in-game with OBS open is somewhere around 90-100, but in OBS its actually showing something closer to 5-15. Tried recording and the framerate was even lower than what was being displayed in the OBS preview, it looked like a slide show lol.

This lag is only affecting FFXIV - Elemental. I have tried resetting Modem, router, using Lan Cables but nothing works. Yesterday I tried free trial VPN and it runs smoothly with 66ms latency. I am not sure if I should purchase the VPN or hope that things will get better on its own without additional VPN subscription.
