I know this has already been resolved, but just a tip, place the Headtorch into your quick bar, you can take it from your head to hands with one button, left click to turn on, press the hotkey button again to put back on your head, saves opening the inventory and leaving yourself open to attacks.

So I have the head torch and the only way to turn it on is through the menu. Is there a way to use it like a hotkey. I've placed into one of my hot keys but nothing happens when I try to select it. If there isn't a way to do this I'll post this again as a bug/suggestion, because you should be able to just reach up and hit the 'on" button.
