I'm coming to pf2e relatively new from 5e, and the Thaumaturge appealed to me as an interesting way to play out a kind of an occult-flavoured fighter. Our group recently shifted to pf2e from 5e as well, and we're playing out our first set of campaigns on foundry after a few playtests to get a grip on the basic mechanics and action economy. Thaumaturge's action economy is pretty tight with Exploit Vulnerability and Intensify Vulnerability and the implement's own actions, so Beastmaster/Cavalier are good for the free Stride you get at 4+ from Mature. If you want a ranged build using Firearms, Gunslinger MC is a solid option if only for the reloads, and there's extra synergy with ...
