FYI the RoF AND the number of projectiles increase at each shot. After ~2 seconds of firing you reach a RoF of 4.5 rounds/sec, firing 10 projectiles per round. Considering the acuracy of the weapon, you usally land most/all of them for a whopping 45 projectiles/sec. Hands down best number of projectiles/sec in the game.
