I always used the (yellow) RS square cutter chain after the original round cutter chain wore out. Old Woodsman. Have a 1985 stihl 028 WB av. Have been searching for the correct carb. rebuild kit. OK, so I've had this Stihl 028 for 30 years. It's had an easy life - not a lot of hours on it. It sat unused for about 3 years so I took it in to the local saw shop and had it all fixed up last fall. It ran great then and I ran it dry and stored it for the winter. It ran good this summer, up until a few weeks ago.

A Wood Boss Muffler can be made to fit a WB. You have to wire the top portion of the muffler to the bottom. The Flywheel covers are different. One cover has 3 holes the other has 4.
