For #1, your SLAM level is the amount of free chlorine in the water. It’s safe to swim anywhere up to that level. That number is determined by how much CYA is in the water. Higher CYA means your FC (free chlorine) needs to be higher. I’d suggest posting what your water measurements are so you can get specific advice for the other questions.
