If you want a decent barrel for your CZ and want it to shoot superbly, buy a blank from a reputable source, Lilja, Benchmark, Shilen, etc., and have a gunsmith you trust cut, crown and chamber it for you. You can get a beautiful blank for 300 bucks or so and have it cut to any length you desire.I'm going to go with the criterion barrel just too much positive feedback to ignore. They are on mid-eighties rifles. Less than half inch groups easy at 50 yds, using good SV ammo. At my age & eyes,I don't shoot as well as I use to. Had a criterion remage barrel in 243 8tw. On a trued action it shot great, lots of groups in the .2s&.3s. Cleaned up as easy as my barts and kriegers. I pulled the barrel at 2400-2500, it's been 6yrs ago, so kinda fuzzy. It still shot under 3/4moa, with no flyers or wild shots at distance, but it had lost 125fps.
