Oct 27, 2023 · There are several custom firmware options available for the RGB30. ArkOS is very similar to JELOS but its configuration is a little different. Instead of making system/console/game adjustments within the EmulationStation interface, most of the configuration is done directly in RetroArch.
After going through more devices that I'd care to admit, I also think the RGB30 and MM+ are amazing. And while there is a significant overlap in what they play, I'm not ready to give up either one! The MM+ still takes my heart as very small, but still playable and premium-feeling but that screen on the RGB30 is :chef's kiss:.

That is weird. I wonder if this has anything to do with Version of the RGB30 I only recently learned about. Maybe this is more prone with one version over that of another. But this literally happened to me over the weekend when testing Rocknix and it effected both Jelos 0206 and Arkos until I reset the battery and now both work as expected again.

But the menu and themes navigation is more useful with quick options compared to ArkOS. Even if the network file transfer (SFTP) is slow, it's always ready for connection in Jelos while on ArkOS it has to be enabled every so often.
