Light has the most i-frames, with the fastest longest dodge. Medium has slightly less than light i-frames and slightly slower. It is based on percentage of ur total equipment load.

In Elden Ring even the average foot soldier has mixed patterns and I also noticed a huge difference between light and medium load outs, heavy roll is a way different story ofc. but light roll gets more i-frames and bigger distance covered, which I found made a huge difference.
