We tested all three models: the DR920 (similar to a G17), MR920 (similar to a G19), and XR920 (similar to a G19X). The grip texture is more aggressive, with a solid medium grit. The MR920 does have some non-standard things that the Glock doesn't, like a different sized slide backplate, a round nosed firing pin, and a different extractor spring set-up so not all Glock parts will work in the MR920. Otherwise, I'd say it's personal preference - whichever one feels better in your hand is probably the one to go with. 4. G19 gen 5 or Shadow System MR920. I love my G19 gen 4,, but the MR920 looks really interesting.. first thing I noticed is.. the rake is identical to the 1911…I like that a lot.
