With Fidium for me, it's fiber up to our house and they had to drill into the garage to bring their ONT inside (not sure why they don't have outdoor ONTs), and the house was pre-wired with a cat5e cable from that point to our closet. So fiber to ONT to EdgeRouter to switch to access point.
