its the operator fault. he is over stressing the engine. when the crank breaks on the 5-6 rod, its always a misuse of the engine. The operator over stress the engine. if its the 1-2 rod, the operator uses way too much the engine brake, or its running the motor at high rpm without load.

I doubt the crank is broken. You would still have oil pressure. If you have a scanner pull up the cam and crank sensor/signal and see if you’re getting a reading. If you’ve got a broken crank and you lose those readings, it can cause a no start. actual fuel pressure reads like 5psi while cranking.
