The voltage you are looking for it 15.6 volts. Next with the car still running, check the voltage at the battery terminal.

The battery light was on so I replaced the alternator 2 weeks ago and the battery was replaced about 6 months ago. Well now the light stays on all the time.

Similar thing happened to my c6 when the blower went on. I would get service charging system all the time when sitting at idle. Turned out to be the TR6 plugs were the problem. They are known for causing low voltage. Something with the copper causing higher resistance or something.
